On social Media and ROI

Quem acompanha mais de perto o mundo dos Social Media, está ciente da intensa discussão em torno do ROI (Return on Investment) dos mesmos e sua validade. Encontrei este belíssimo post do Olivier Blanchard (um acérrimo descrente no cáculo de ROI para social media) no seu blog, The BrandBuilder, onde apresenta o seu caso em forma de resposta a um post de um outro autor, com supostos casos de sucesso de ROI nos Social Media. None of this is personal. I even think like the guy. (We’ve never met in the real world, so I don’t know for sure.) I have a lot of respect for him and for what I think he does. (We’ve never worked together so I don’t know for sure either.) But I have to be honest, the 101 Examples of Social Media ROI list he published this week is (crap) seriously flawed. Here’s why: Most of these 101 “examples” don’t show ROI at all, “social” or otherwise. Either the title is wrong or the list is wrong for that title. One or the other."
